Extra-curricular Sports

Students at Pedare are offered many opportunities to experience and participate in a wide variety of extra-curricular activities that enhance their learning and personal development and develop their talents and passions.

Extra-curricular Sports

A commitment to sport is encouraged, fostering individual growth, teamwork and physical wellbeing. The scope of sports on offer caters for a range of interests as well as skill levels, with interschool competitions and representative opportunities available.

Opportunities for Enrichment and Enhancement are also available in STEM, Creative and Performing Arts, Critical Thinking and Global Communities, with activities and opportunities offered both within and outside of the traditional school day. We offer a vast array of extra-curricular opportunities that complement our academic programs.

School Sport SA (SSSA)

School Sport South Australia opportunities are offered in a range of key sports in a knockout style tournament across Year 6/7, Year 8/9 and Open teams. Teams are selected through a trial process in sports which are already being delivered in our Sport and Extra-curricular program.

SAPSASA

SAPSASA runs a series of Knockout Competitions, State Carnivals and State Championships, in which the school nominates individuals and teams for competition across Years 4-6.

Specialist Program in Netball

The Specialist Program is a part of the SPIN+ (Special Programme in Netball); students from Years 5-12 are selected to participate in a weekly training programme to enhance their netball skills and general fitness. The Knockout Netball teams and Anglican Cup teams are selected from the SPIN+ Training Squad.

Anglican Cup

Anglican Cup is an annual carnival between Pulteney Grammar School, St John’s Grammar and Woodcroft College for our Senior School students in a variety of winter sports. The Middle School Anglican Cup is offered across a variety of Summer sports later in Term 4. Teams are selected through a trial process.
